Red Sox World Series tickets have now surpassed $500 and are going for twice as much on resale — broke college students won’t be doing that any time soon. With that option out of the way, here are some cheaper and, more importantly, spookier activities for this Halloweekend.

Twenty One Pilots at TD Garden

Okay, so maybe this isn’t spooky. But it is cheaper than a World Series game and promises to be an exciting show. Twenty One Pilots are bringing The Bandito Tour to Boston this Friday, Oct. 26 with openers AWOLNATION and Max Frost. Tickets are limited but still available so grab them quick, but make sure to take some time on your riiiiiiiiide over to TD Garden. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.

Women of the Boston Comedy Festival

Saturday, Oct. 27, check out this comedy festival at the Haymarket Lounge, not far from Faneuil Hall. It features Boston’s top female comedians, including Erin Spencer, the first transgender woman to make it to the finals of the Boston Comedy Festival. Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door; doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. For more information, check out the event’s website.

Halloween Pet Parade

If you’re in a eternal state of missing your pets like I am, this event will be the highlight of your Halloweekend — nay, your whole semester. Sunday, Oct. 28, camp out in Faneuil Hall at noon and watch the goodest of boys proudly trot past you in the cutest, spookiest parade you’ll ever see. Speaking from experience, this parade is mostly dogs but if you look carefully, you might see a rare cat or bird sporting their best Halloween getup.

Pumpkin Palooza at the Lawn on D

If you’re in need of some Halloween decor, carve some pumpkins at the Lawn on D’s last event of the season: Pumpkin Palooza. There will also be live music and other activities, so head over to the Lawn on D Saturday, Oct. 27 or Sunday, Oct. 28 for some spook-tastic fun starting at noon on both days. More information can be found here. Did I mention it’s free?
