Boston University Men’s Hockey vs. Northeastern University

Thursday, November 1: 7 p.m.

Enjoy a Beanpot championship rematch at Matthews Arena against our rival, Boston University, this Thursday. Northeastern men’s hockey team, which is currently ranked number 13 in its division, will play against Boston University, which Northeastern swept the season series with last season, 3-0-0. A win at this game would give the Huskies four straight wins against the Terriers for the first time since 1989. Before the game, Northeastern will honor one of the greatest players in program history during a pregame ceremony. Adam Gaudette, who is currently playing with the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, received the Hobey Baker Memorial Award this year. Winning this award marks prestige and honor; the annual award is given to the top National Collegiate Athletic Association men’s ice hockey player. Northeastern will recognize Gaudette and his historic 2017-18 season by unveiling Gaudette’s Hobey Baker banner. Although he will not be in attendance, several members of his family will participate in the ceremony before puck drop. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive an Adam Gaudette puck. Tickets to the game are available by visiting tickets.GoNU.com, and students can obtain free tickets through their myNortheastern account. Those who cannot make the event can watch the game on NESN.
